LiftMarshal by CraneQualified
A PRACTICAL WALKTHROUGH

One lift. Ten clear steps.

Use the same project workflow whenever crane work is planned on site, from construction and industrial work to infrastructure and data centers. Project Atlas is one fictional data center example.

The GC coordinates the package. Each employer records decisions for its workers. The designated lift director records release or hold.

Your client workspace

Need access? Contact MSC Safety Solutions or call 303-477-1044 and ask for LiftMarshal workspace setup. The team will arrange your account and project access.

First-plan checklist

  1. Administrator: arrange a confirmed account, create the client organization/project and invite named employer representatives, reviewer and lift director.
  2. Reviewer: register and approve applicable project sources/versions. Configure requirements and the source used for human lift classification.
  3. Coordinator: open the project, choose Upload plan documents, and add one plan or all related files for the same operation.
  4. Submitter: keep the page open while scanned pages are read. The project saves the originals, issues and concerns, and findings PDF together. Open the report and check uncertain readings against the originals.
  5. Reviewer and submitter: return or correct findings, preserve unresolved issues, and review the latest revision. Document verification is separate from plan review.
  6. Director: use the separate requirements/release workflow, carry out the field process, record changes/completion and freeze the closeout evidence.

Supported originals: PDF, PNG and JPEG. Upload one document or up to 30 related files as one package. Scanned pages are read with OCR. The report identifies concerns and uncertain readings for review; drawings, handwriting and signatures may need confirmation. If you need to record an operational lift, confirm its figures and page references in the separate lift record.

Your team adds its project details and documents directly in the private workspace. Each submitted package keeps its own originals, report and review history.

CraneQualified provides

  • The hosted workspace and an arranged sign-in account.
  • Project invitations and access controls.
  • Record checks, review workflows, and this field guide.
  • Retrievable evidence packets and original documents.

Your project team adds

  • The GC, project, contractors, and responsible people.
  • Reviewed project requirements and their sources.
  • Workers, credentials, evaluations, and employer decisions.
  • Actual lift plans, equipment records, and field reviews.

Set up your first project

  1. Receive your access. The person providing your workspace link arranges your account with the account administrator. Sign in with the email address supplied during setup.
  2. Open the private workspace. Sign in and select “Create organization and project,” or accept the invitation for your email address if the project already exists.
  3. Bring in the project team. The GC administrator creates contractors and project invitations, then deliberately assigns employer representatives, reviewers, and the lift director.
  4. Record the project requirements. The responsible reviewer registers the applicable sources and versions, approves their use, and records the requirements for this project.
  5. Add the people and first lift. Contractors add their workers and evidence. The team creates a lift package, assigns the crew and equipment, and adds the actual job documents.
  6. Use the field workflow below. Resolve gaps, record the responsible human decisions, review actual field conditions, and preserve the completed package.

How the GC uses this in the field

Follow one lift from the project team to its preserved evidence.

STEP 1 OF 10

Set up the project team

Responsible: GC project administrator

Create the project and invite the contractor representatives, project reviewer, and designated lift director.

Named accounts have deliberate project and employer roles. Being the GC does not grant another employer's authorization power.

Project Atlas uses fictional records and simulated roles. This walkthrough does not create real decisions.

See this in the demo

The daily field routine

Morning

Review upcoming packages, assigned actions, and expiring records.

Before work

Check the current crew and package, carry out the field review, and confirm the designated director's recorded decision.

After work

Record completion, verify closeouts, and preserve the evidence packet.

Actual competence, equipment suitability, engineering, and field conditions require responsible human review. Use the private workspace only after your project requirements and field process have been accepted.
